Executive Roundtable

Introduction

In 2002-2003 CNI launched the Executive Roundtable initiative, designed to bring together library and information technology leaders to discuss key networked information topics and their strategic implications. Building on the theme of collaboration that is at the heart of the Coalition's mission, each participating institution is asked to send a pair of representatives -- one from IT and one from the library. Participants hear an overview of the current trends and issues surrounding one particular topic by Cliff Lynch, and then have an opportunity to discuss these issues with their peers. CNI staff members choose topics that will be of compelling interest for both library and IT professionals.
