About CNI
|
CNI is an organization dedicated to supporting the transformative promise of networked information technology for the advancement of scholarly communications and the enrichment of intellectual productivity. Some 200 institutions representing higher education, publishing, network and telecommunications, information technology, and libraries and library organizations make up CNI's members. CNI's semi-annual membership meetings (formerly known as Task Force meetings) bring together representatives of these constituencies to discuss ongoing and new projects, and to plan for future initiatives.
We are sponsored by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and EDUCAUSE, and are governed by a Steering Committee. Executive Director Clifford A. Lynch leads the CNI staff at our Washington, DC headquarters. Our current Program Plan is available online.
